Elmar Yusifli, PhD – Cluster head

Dr. Elmar Yusifli obtained his Ph.D. in Microtechnology and Embedded Systems at the Nanomedicine Laboratory of the University of Franche-Comté, France, in 2017. He has worked as a Research and Development Engineer in Electronics at Myopowers Medical Technologies in France and as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer at Asecud, located in the innovation park of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), where he contributes to innovative projects, including the prototyping and industrialization of groundbreaking ideas.

His main research areas include embedded systems, embedded programming, microelectronics, and microtechnologies. Dr. Yusifli maintains close collaboration with the University of Franche-Comté, the Synergies Laboratory, and the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. As an associate professor, he actively shares his expertise with students while advancing innovation in electronic and microtechnology projects applied to biomedical devices. He has also taught analog and digital electronics, as well as industrial computing, at the University of Paris-Est Créteil, the ECE School of Engineering in Paris, and the University of Franche-Comté.
